Cozy and clean place to stay in Penang. The location is very close to interesting places to visit in Georgetown. My friend and I had really great experience in Penang thanks to suggestions from the owner.

We loved our stay. The house is very clean and the room was comfortable. The staff is also very helpful and nice. They even offered some delicious bread made locally. Kitchen is also great. Location is perfect, with lots of great restaurants nearby. Will stay again!

Clean and comfortable. Location is very good. It’s close to many attraction points.

Unfortunately the worst sleep of our travels because of the thin walls. Earplugs don't help because you hear and feel every step and movement. They have a quiet policy after 10pm but our room was next to 2 obnoxiously loud young European girls who kept chatting and laughing until way past midnight.

Amazing service! Aayu is worth booking for their free group events alone! Plus you get comfortable rooms & lobbies, amenities like laundry & coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. Staying with Aayu feels like a true taste of Penang.

Property supervisor was friendly and even upgraded us to a larger room as the initial room which was offered to us was smaller than what it was shown on the platform.

I think to call it “good” is a fair assessment. It is a heritage property so it was quite beautiful. It was also within walking distance of Chulia St., and other points of interest. The staff was pleasant and organized events every day.

The rooms spread along the street and some of them are too close to noisy community karaoke. Must make sure which room you will take.
