I always stay at Chulia Mansion when in Georgetown. Comfortable rooms, clean, and perfect location in the old town. Sahrul from reception is ever so kind, his smile makes your day! Try the rooftop bar at night, it's nice and guests get 15% off for drinks.

We stay here when we come to Penang because of the location right on Chulia Street. The hotel is clean and convenient. The roof deck is wonderful for sunset or a drink.

Central location. Quite fast and smooth checkin and checkout. Staff was willing to attend to my doubts and offer an alternative choice, which however was noticeably inferior (see below).

Hotel is in a brilliant location in George Town, walking distance to most attractions and the public bus also stops just up the street which was helpful. Staff were very friendly. Fridge in the room was welcomed.
