The ride from Sky Sentral to the peak takes about 10 minutes along a 2.8 km route with three stations, including Chin Swee. It gives children a change of pace before the theme-park rides.

Good to know

Awana SkyWay operates from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The same ticket lets you get off at Chin Swee and continue later; keep the ticket or QR code to reboard. Passengers aged 16 or younger need adult supervision. Take a direct express bus from KL Sentral or TBS to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Terminal, then transfer to Awana SkyWay at Sky Sentral. Bus-and-cable-car tickets are available at KL Sentral and Gombak LRT counters.

Genting SkyWorlds is a theme park that began its soft opening on 8 February 2022, following an announcement by Resorts World Genting on 31 January 2022. Choose a few of the nine themed worlds rather than rushing across the park: Rio has Blue Sky Carousel and Samba Gliders, while Studio Plaza’s Immersive Studio pairs interactive installations with LED projections and 3D spatial audio.

Good to know

The park is scheduled to operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed on Tuesdays except when Tuesday falls during a Malaysian national public holiday or school holiday. Check before you go; the park app shows wait times and timed slots for selected attractions. Walk about 27 minutes on foot from Awana SkyWay cable car, along a 2.01 km route.

Skytropolis Funland

Skytropolis is an indoor theme park at First World Plaza, next to SkyAvenue, with more than 20 rides. It began a soft opening in December 2018 after refurbishment. A family carousel and an open-top train sit alongside thrill attractions such as SkyTowers and Power Surge, giving children different kinds of rides to choose from under one roof.

Good to know

Operating hours vary by peak or non-peak day; check before you go. Tickets are available online, at the park counter or at self-service kiosks. Keep the pass wristband on for ride entry, and check height limits for individual rides. From Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Terminal, take the cable car to SkyAvenue Station, then go to Level 1 at First World Plaza.

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms is a tourist attraction in Gohtong Jaya focused on hydroponic strawberry growing. It also has a flower garden, recommended as part of a visit. The farm also offers photo opportunities with its flowers and plants, a change from the rides and queues.
